We wanted to get inside our target audience of moms heads, literally.
We partnered up with Spotify to record two types of audio spots, ROS & In-Playlist. We flipped the commercial break on its head. Each advertisement moment on Spotify will encourage and motivate listeners to continue working out/moving, despite missing their music.
In this project, I managed the production through:
- Creative Brief and Pre-production:
- Defined the objectives and key message of the audio spot.
- Managed the scripted development that aligns with the brand’s identity and resonates with the audience.
- Determined the spot’s duration (usually 15, 30, or 60 seconds) and adhere to time constraints.
- Voice Talent, Recording and Sound Mixing
- Worked with Business Affairs on talent contracts and negotiations.
- Gathered casting specs for casting directors
- Conducted auditions to voice demos to find the best fit.
- Scheduled a recording session with sound vendor.
- Managed feedback and revisions with talent.
- Gathered music specs and managed day to day conversations with vendors on SFX and music.
- Editing:
- Mix all the elements (voiceover, music, sound effects) to achieve a cohesive and polished audio spot.
- Managed the edit of videos with animation and stock footage
- Test the audio spot on various devices to ensure it sounds consistent across different platforms.
- Approval and Distribution:
- Share the final audio spot with the client and USDA for approval or feedback.
- Deliver the approved audio and video spot in the appropriate format (MP3, WAV, etc.) to the broadcasting platform or advertising channels.
